…Just a little about me
Safari Blake was born in Trelawny, Jamaica, grew up in Hartford, Connecticut, and now lives in California. She is the ninth out of ten siblings. She graduated from Syracuse University with a major in biology and a minor in psychology.
She had intentions to go to medical school, but she was very disinterested. After graduation, the author worked in various human service/mental health fields, trying to decipher where her passion lies. She then began to write more frequently.
After quitting a job, she felt compelled to collect all the pieces she had written on random napkins and loose papers and type them up. Over the years, Safari’s thoughts and feelings transformed into inspiring and uplifting poems/spoken words that brings healing and deliverance to many lives. She authored the book, " Lord Expose ME." It is available on Amazon and e-books. The book encompasses her journal entries in poetry
Her creativity continues to expand into acting, singing, and songwriting. She is currently working on her EP.
